It’s my brother’s anniversary today. He died from neglect but that is not reflected in the #MBHCOI’s Report. In 1994 my mother was lead to the graveyard at #Bessboro & told her baby was buried there. In 2019 we find out that he was buried in a famine graveyard with 30,000 other souls with not one marker. We have no idea on this 5 acre site where he is. #MotherAndBabyHomes

MWB Two Ltd are applying for planning again via Cork City Council No:2241568 for apartments at #Bessboro that will overlook a very peaceful place that has become the unofficial memorial for the women & children that died. #introduction: In 1994 I moved from London to Cork, this event caused my mother to tell me that she had a baby in the Sacred Hearts Convent at #Bessboro in 1960.She explained how she nearly died &how her healthy baby William became poorly.
