The problem with the #USA is that #BigCar was allowed to destroy #PublicTransport by literally buying it up for the purpose of destroying it.

The #USA used to have decent #PublicTransport but lack of #regulation and #care allowed #BigCar to literally buy up public transport networks and providers solely to destroy them.
#PublicTransport isn't a commodity but #Infrastructure just like a FireDept, EMS, Hospital, School, Road, Water, Sewage and garbage service and should be considered essential just like #fiber internet and #emergency services' ability to be reached.
