It's possible to add a Customer Reviews plug-in to #BigCartel stores (Powr) but the interface is pretty naff so I've been reluctant to do so. :blobfrowningbig:

Have any #artists out there with a #BigCartel store managed to find a good solution for allowing customers to add reviews? I tried installing powr but I don’t really like how it looks. 🫤

It’s pretty much the only thing I miss from my #Etsy store.

Because my partner and I won't be making us much since he was laid off, I'm researching ways to bring in more money..

I currently do cat sitting and paint #miniatures for Lethal Shadows.

Cat sitting ebbs and flows, peaking around holidays. Usually make the most money Nov - Jan. Since that is coming up, that'll be a good boost.

Painting for Lethal Shadows also ebbs and flows, except it tends to peak approaching conventions. Next convention I gotta prep for is ECCC in March.

I've been thinking about doing some mini painting in slower times, and selling them outside of convention prep and comissions through Lethal Shadows. So maybe an online shop, or be a vendor at smaller art shows/conventions.

In the past I've also done prints, buttons, and fluid paintings. I still have some items.

Basically there are lots of options, and I have to figure out what to focus on. 😵‍💫

I've been recovering from burnout for several years, and unsure if I'll ever feel "normal". #ADHD makes doing things I find boring nearly impossible. So it has been tough trying to stretch myself. Easily I get overwhelmed by options and "shoulds".

Currently investigating #kofi and #bigcartel as options. And I know that kofi has #twitch integration. I technically also have a #patreon account, but found it to be difficult to regularly post and create art for it.

Ugh.

soooo #BigCartel is still trying to fix the gdpr issue I will probably return to them. kn the meantime I will launch 🚀 my shop. Sadly not BigCartel. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

@jfml I just learned that printful.com (a print on demand service) allows you to connect your #Bigcartel and others. I wish #deviantart would add this service so I could sell on demand prints via my shop. That would justify 10 bugs tbh haha 😆

A #BigCartel Shop surprisingly is very handy when it comes to selling #prints of your #art 😳 I just found out, that I can add print on demand function easily with printful.com this is amazing! Anyone got any ideas 💡 to that topic? It sounds amazing and I honestly wish #redbubble and #society6 would add the feature to connect with my BC shop.
