How would you make this street better for biking & walking? Capt Bertie’s Way is a short 20 MPH street with residences and an entrance to a major town parking lot at the end. There’s a planned shared use path to connect a new housing development (highlighted parcel). This sign is on a what I would call a main road. 35mph speed limit and no sidewalks for this two blocks. Made it this far? Congratulations, move over one block and take your chances with a 20mph speed limit. There are sidewalks for much of this, but even the sheriff’s deputy rig won’t hold the speed to that.

Und was sehe ich da. Es geht endlich weiter mit der Bikelane an der Artur-Ladebeck-Straße in Bielefeld.
Allerdings wird es keine Protected Bikelane werden - Zitat: "Zur Sicherstellung der Belange der Feuerwehr und Rettung wurde eine (bauliche) Protektion der zukünftigen Bike Lane ausgeschlossen".

A more uplifting sight is some of the cycling infrastructure in #NewYorkCity. 🚲 🚲 🚲
It's been years since I've been to New York, and I've seen some pictures and videos online about how much cycling infrastructure has gone in. Much of it is imperfect, but man they're making progress.
More than once I saw #NYPD vehicles blocking the bike lanes (like in one of the photos below).

I assumed they investigated crime scenes, but maybe they’re in the business of creating them, too? #ohtheirony
