This is a great story. In Quebec, Canada, there was an 8-9 year biker war between the late 90s and early 00s. There were many bombings, arsons, and lots of dead bodies. The Hells Angels won this war.

It's nice to have a report of what I've done. I was thinking that I just spent a lot of lazy time hanging out outside the burger place + waiting under the shed for my fellow #bikers. #FilipinoTime 🤷‍♀️ I've actually been quite productive! 🏋️‍♀️👍

And here again is the human-adopting stray #dog. We were chatting loudly under the shed as it slept very contentedly. Pretty sure it got up and left once we were all gone. Later we saw it at the Oblation, with humans. 😄

After the happy assembly of #foldie #bikers at campus, I took my #bike to a shop for a wash and service It'd be a long wait as there were other bikes waiting for service. So i left my bike and went next door, to a little-known restaurant for #lunch.

Silly me. 😳 Good thing I realized before I gave my order. I don't bring my credit card when I go biking, and only enough cash for emergency bike services.

I like to ride 🚲 with my rear light on 🚨, even during the day 🌄. I think it does help with visibility and keeping safe(r).

Joined some #bikers that have a rule about using 100% human power for their rides. I showed up with my #eMTB and asked if I could join them. I'd already messaged ahead saying I can only do about 90% -- because I use #PedalAssist about 10% of the time. The ride leader was reluctant but decided to let me join them anyway -- my excuse being health reasons. So grateful. 😊🙏

We had a few stops, hence the 5 separate cardio reports.

At city hall now waiting for the #bike event to start. It's the city's 83rd founding anniversary.

They got a large banner for the event and #bikers were taking turns taking #photos of each other. A kind stranger came and offered to take my photo there, with my phone. Aaaww... How nice. 🙂

Then I moved away and a few minutes later an older gent approached me with his phone. I thought he wanted me to take his picture. Nope. He wanted a picture with me. 😳

Yeah. With the abundance of #bikers now, it would be nice if they provided #bike racks.

I would never do what the owner of the bike in the photo 👇 did. He just left it leaning under a tree, not locked. And he went inside the store. About 10 meters from his bike. His bike cannot be easily seen from inside the store. 🤷‍♀️

The table makes for good locked* bike parking, actually. The legs are rectangular pieces. Can't take the bike without cutting through any metal. 😉

Not bad. Not bad at all. 🤔

Garmin activity tracker recorded almost 2 hours but that included chatting with the security guard and a 5-minute break. Moving time was really 1.5 hours.

He said #bikers get robbed of their cellphones on this and that street while at the red light and that somebody got stabbed last night. He recommends staying on the interior streets. Well, that's no fun. 😕

Whatever. I rode my #bike today! And it's my longest solo ride! ☝️😃
