Seriously, though, that's usually a move used by narcissistic women ("I'm important, you aren't") but I guess men can't always do that weird "dominant handshake" thing they resort to, and this is a fallback.

I swear, these people see it in movies and TOTALLY MISS that it's a shorthand that gives away "this character is an asshole," instead thinking it's a "power move" they need to incorporate into their lives.
