Bill Russell wasn't just a great player he is also 1 of 5 people to be elected to the HOF as a player and a coach. Russell, the first Black coach in American pro sports, won two titles as a player-coach for the Celtics then led the Sonics to their 1st ever playoff appearances in 1975 and 1976. He later coached half a season for the Kings, which was not as successful.
