Battle between Nobel False Widow spider (came to UK in 1879 in banana boxes, since spread across Southern counties), and a common wasp - looked like the spider would win, frantically lassoing more thread out, but wasp cleverly gathered web threads up and with one snip of those impressive mandibles the spider scarpered out of harms way of the wasps sting. #wildlifephotgraphy #macro #ecology #Biodiverity #wildlifeuk
