La società americana #Biofire Technologies ha introdotto la prima pistola #biometrica al mondo chiamata “The Biofire Smart Gun”.

La pistola è in fase di sviluppo da oltre 10 anni e nel 2022 la società ha attirato #investimenti per un importo di 17 milioni di dollari per questo sviluppo.

La pistola utilizza #impronte #digitali e #tecnologia di riconoscimento facciale a #infrarossi 3D, che consente solo alle #persone autorizzate di sparare con la pistola.
