I left school with grim maths CSEs & an O level.
I had to learn statistics as my career as a #BiomedicalScientist developed. I really enjoyed using them.
But
I think ultimately it's more about knowing which tools to use from the statistics toolbox than knowing the mechanics of how to calculate them.

Won the "Guess the monthly workload" I work for October I our tiny but busy trace elements lab. Usually wildly too high or too low. Now go with the same number each time. Bingo won twice in 3 months.

I'm a #retired #Biomedicalscientist living in #leicestershire . A life-long #cyclist - I also draw & #sketch. I collect & use #filmcameras #35mmfilm. We've got 2 #allotment plots (fruit & veg + flowers). Six grandchildren.
I'm proud of the #Humanities degree ( #arthistory & #french ) I got in my 50s which opened up so many new vistas for myself & my wife
