I love the concept of federation. How you find your "home" server with the CoC that suits you, the CWs, the structure of community.I saw a post from Ru saying something like "find your community, not your audience". That hit home.I don't want an audience.I hope to just quietly sit in the corner here.I just hope we (ex-twits) don't screw it up.

I'm enjoying the base #principles of how Mastodon works as much as being here. I was never a heavy user of #Birdie but I feel much more #comfortable here. I'm really coming round to the notion of spending a couple of quid a month on a #federated social media that I'm comfortable with instead of being a commodity that the #algorythm pokes to force a reaction.
