For comparison with images I've been sharing from my @Raspberry_Pi motion detection #AutomatedMothTrap, an image from #BlackMountain Canberra, 5 January 2022 00:51, from a battery-powered timelapse version (#RaspberryPi Zero and HQ camera).
On warm and busy nights, smaller insects often land on larger insects as with the two #Opodiphthera eucalypti #SilkMoths here: male (to left) with #Antictenia punctunculus (#Geometridae) and female (to right) with #Acropolitis rudisana (#Tortricidae)

Massive numbers of everlastings in flower right now on #BlackMountain, #Canberra. I don't think I've ever seen them so dense. Pretty sure these are sticky everlasting (#Xerochrysum viscosum) and clustered everlasting (#Chrysocephalum semipapposum) but I'm #NotABotanist.
