Imagining how their normal comedy heavy random bullshit will mesh with a gritty serious game like that is kinda twisting my brain.

@AetherEgo @PenPaperDice mixed feelings about the #BladeRunnerRPG. The original Bladerunner movie is one of my favorite movies of all times, and the book looks gorgeous. But is the „runners hunting replicants-set-up“ maybe a too narrow focus for a #ttrpg? Doesn‘t the seminal neo noir of Bladerunner already permeates dozens of cyberpunk games? (Says the guy who collecte DnD retro-clones 😂)

Eigentlich hatte ich vor, mir das #BladeRunnerRPG von #FreeLeague zu holen. Bin nicht immer mit ihren Produkten zufrieden, aber die Neugier ist einfach zu groß.
Doch jetzt habe ich die #Rezension auf teilzeithelden.de gelesen, die meine Befürchtungen zu bestätigen scheint: Wie das #AlienRPG wird auch dieses um die Boxen herum aufgebaut sein und das #Grundregelwerk eigentlich nur ein Regalstück, weil es kaum Möglichkeit bietet, eigene Sachen zu erstellen. Gibt es bereits Erfahrungen damit?

@Glgnfz Werde wohl als erstes zu #MörkBorg greifen. Sie sehen alle gut aus, aber #DCC hat ein recht hohes Einstiegsinvestment. Und weil ich mir auch das #BladeRunnerRPG zulegen will und demnächst wieder das #AlienRPG leite, müssen #CyBorg und #DeathinSpace erstmal auf die Wartebank.

First RPG session played in 2023 is #BladeRunnerRPG from Free League. We played on Foundry VTT and I was Detective Novak from the Starter Kit.

This game has the perfect #BladeRunner atmosphere.

Obwohl ich nicht der größte #BladeRunner Fan bin und zuletzt eher unzufrieden mit #FreeLeague Sachen war, übt das #BladeRunnerRPG seit Ankündigung eine gewisse Anziehungskraft auf mich aus. Die größte Furcht: Ist es ein One Trick Pony wie das #AlienRPG ?
Ich habe auf Youtube folgendes Video gefunden, dass einen guten Blick auf das #Grundregelwerk ermöglicht. Und es scheint tatsächlich wenig variabel zu sein und auch wieder auf Boxen zu bauen.

We had our first go at Free League's Blade Runner RPG this evening.

As with all #FreeLeague games, the character creation is a doddle and we had our Blade Runners created in no time.

We did the first shift of starter sets premade - Electric Dreams - Great atmosphere, great game. Highly recommend it.

I cannot wait to play more.
