I wanted to hate the third Blair Witch movie but I can't because it creeped the shit out of me and it had a lot of good moments.
It has a longer very well done haunted house sequence than in the first film and even a bit of gore.
But the camera work is heavy and a bit too much for me and there was A LOT of repeated jumpscare stuff which I just don't like that much.
Without any context and the urge to be too cool to love the newer stuff this is a really good horror movie and I want to rewatch it immediately but I think my pulse rate needs a while to calm down. 😬

Finally watched The Blair Witch Project! Oddly, I wasn't super impressed while watching the film, but now I can't stop thinking about it. Such a beautiful little artefact of its time, and the MD woods in which it was filmed are super nostalgic to me. #amwatching #BlairWitch

Gestern kam ich spät aus der Arbeit raus; der #Stadtwald #Augsburg war dunkler als sonst. Und dann zwei junge Baumstämme quer über den Weg - wer macht denn sowas?!? Hatte #BlairWitch Feeling und ich war froh, als ich zuhause war.
