Really had a hard time getting into the story. Almost gave up. The first-person narrator was not helping at all. It just didn't work.
Although, later in the story I understood why this was the choice of the writer. It did make sense then.
I had no problems with the story itself once it was revealed. Not writing anything about that, because it would be a huge spoiler. However, the added confusion towards the end? Too much for my liking.
