I can't decide if my next physical should be #ProjectBlue or #BlazingRangers. Both are so good!
I just read that Blazing Rangers has a comic book with the physical release! I didn't get it with the digital one, just a pdf manual. I also am not sure if the comic book is only in the Japanese Famicom release or if the NES release also has it.
I mostly want Project Blue physically for the manual. The pdf manual is intentionally made to look like a bad scan like what you can find in archive.org or Vimm's Lair or whatever for classic NES titles. While I appreciate the charm, I also kinda wanna get the original manual.
I love that #BlazingRangers has physical releases in
1: cutesy Japanese famicom format
2. Hardcore Capcom-styled American NES format
3. Serious European-style PAL NES format (seriously, these two look like Valérian and Laureline expys)
That's some commitment to #NESdev authenticity!
