What are some critical elements of combat/movement in #Castlevania and similar games like the #Bloodstained that should be brought over to a #ttrpg inspired by them?
Assume some sort of spatial element to combat.
(I'm mainly interested in the classic ones, but suggestions based on the Lords of Shadow series are great, too.)

2022 in Gaming:
- Finished a #Skyrim playthrough (my third ever and first on PC)
- Started local couch co-op of #StardewValley with my partner
- Played Through #EldenRing twice
- Was gifted #Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night and did the entire playthrough on #SteamDeck
- Spent November internet quota & game time downloading #MicrosoftFlightSimulator 's update
- Started #PillarsOfEternity on Steamdeck and desktop (cloud saves are super nice)

@SignalsAndSorcery Congrats Elden Lord!
I did two playthroughs of Elden Ring and then moved on to #BloodStained : Ritual of the Night - Its a proper 'Metroidvania' as a spiritual successor to Castlevania Symphony of the Night so has RPG-ish elements, but much more of an action / exploration game.
Currently I'm playing Pillars of Eternity.
@polymerwitch Eventually, I'll be looking to do some #Valheim multiplayer and would love to set up a regular thing with someone in a Pacific (UTC-8) timezone
I first completed #BloodStained Ritual of the Night on my #SteamDeck and just started #PillarsOfEternity this week.
