Finished our campaign of Bloodwraith. The failed to save New Jaruda, but they gave them warning so half the people escaped destruction by fractal wyrm.

They found the artifact the blood elves were seeking, it had been stolen by a child enchanted by a corrupted ent. The battle to defeat the ent (and the animated thorn bushes that defended it) without casualties, but it was a tough fight and the Druid used every healing spell at his disposal.

King’s Spear “Justice”

+1 to attack and damage. If two people swear an oath while holding the spear, the oath becomes bound by magic. If one person breaks their oath, the spear will teleport to the other and henceforth does an additional 1d6 damage to the oath breaker.

+1 to attack and damage. Grants an additional +1d4 damage against the last type of creature whose blood was used to soak the bow. This wears off after a week and must be refreshed. Was soaked in human blood two days ago.

Not that they have a good way to discover this. Maybe the vukh can tell them more.

I prepared a lot of stuff for last night’s Bloodwraith session. Except I forgot about the King’s Tomb in the tower above the crypts. Which is the only thing they looted.

So now I’ve got to decide what the magic orb, bracelet, two rings, scepter, and spear do. Plus the ancient curses that protect them from unworthy hands.

When the Druid tried to gaze in the orb, during combat, they were frozen by visions of a chaos wyrm attacking the city.

Level One for the ancient crypt my Bloodwraith party may explore tomorrow.

Wanted something nice and sprawling, so combined several crypt geomorphs from @dysonlogos .

The scales were slightly different on some files, and my meager attempts to fix them were only partially successful. But it’s good enough for my purposes.

Infinite Crypt

My Bloodwraith group wants to go treasure hunting in a nearby ancient tomb. It’s going to be too large for them to fully explore.

When they search a reasonable spot, they’ll find something on 20+ on a d20. I’ll start a tally and add +1 to the roll for each consecutive nothing result since the previous find.

Between each searchable spot, I’ll roll the same for encounters. Separate tally.

Deeper sections will be 10+ on a d10.

Enclave creation for Bloodwraith was fun. Things they decided:

*They never have enough food, and eat rodents when they can.
*They live close to the blood marshes.
*They have secret mines they extract ore for trade.

By a quirk of class selections, their relationships in the enclave were all either leadership or Pariahs. They created five pariah npcs.

Getting ready to run Bloodwraith tonight. It’s our first session, and while character creation will be quick I want to take time to build the enclave with the group, establish relationships with the NPCs.

I think we’ll have every class except Archer, which is my favorite one.

I really love the magic in this system.
