Pseudiom did an excellent video on Sandy Pearlman’s Imaginos. Left with scarce sources, one could barely get to the surface let alone the whole shebang that only Pearlman knew. And the public consciousness has slices of it, though, veiled and oblique. A valiant try of fitting the puzzle pieces.

Great Albums - 1970s: #BlueOysterCult – #SecretTreaties (1975). Then when the critics actually start a band, it’s way more pompy and proggy than Styx or Yes – although, I guess, in a funnier way. BÖC worked because they looked like guys who rent you shoes at the bowling alley but could play like beasts – not only arty but hard enough to support Sabbath without getting cherry bombs thrown at their cellos (secret: they had none) like poor Gentle Giant.
