Asked this before but didn't get many answers, so what's #Bookshare access like in the UK these days? Do we get British editions of books?
Also, how does it support authors? Is it the same as borrowing from a library where they get royalties?

#Blind Mastodonians, does anyone know what #Bookshare is like in the #UK these days? Do we have the same level of access to content that folk in the US do?
I don't want to go through all the rigmarole of getting proof of my disability and whatnot to find it's not worth it yet.
Also, does it have UK editions of books?

I'm slipping badly!!! I have not looked at the NYT bestseller list this week. Been busy here trying to learn this platform. This has got to be the first week in ages I haven't looked at the list, not to mention what's been added to #Bookshare, a website and organization dedicated to providing books in accessible formats to those of us with print disabilities or reading barriers.
