At last some art photography. The first photo is where I started and then took a photo of rippling water. My Nikon D7100 has the image overlay feature. I used it to create the second photo where I overlaid the photo of the tulips with the photo of the water. I made adjustments so that the tulips would be the upper layer so as to be still be as clear as possible. In camera. I do a small amount of editing in Lightroom afterwards.

Sees the lynch photograph of a project I started about four years ago and got waylaid during the pandemic.
"Breaking Out" taken at Edinburgh Botanic Gardens hothouses, these plants were all trying to get out of their perfect environment into a bitter wintery world where it would have been hostile to their existence and may have killed them.
