I'm having a really hard time finding active #BBS games of Barren Realms Elite (#BRE).
I know of:
* Doorparty (local shared game)
* BBSlink (local shared game)
* Battlenet (league 000 has a reasonable amount, league 069 almost as many)

So many systems I've peeked into have the game installed but no players. It's a bit of a chicken and egg - I'd like to go where the players already are though.

Does anyone still play Barren Realms Elite? And if so, where do you play?

I just heard an American using the word *pianist*, and it only had two syllables! 🙀

I’m used to someone, like me, who plays the /ˈpʲæ.no/ being called a /ˈpi.ə.nɪst/ #BrE

But – and I don’t know how I’ve never heard this before – now I know that an American might call me a /ˈpʲæ.nɪst/ #AmE

Not sure what would happen to words like pianism and pianistic though 🤷‍♀️
