Straining my brain to figure out the proper architecture of several interdependent modules.

This is one reason I'm terrified of . It is super hard sometimes to figure out the right way to structure things, and I can't imagine trying to do it with any .

Another thing that bothers me from a perspective is how Kindle praises you for each book read and wants to turn your reading time into some kind of incentive program reminiscent of summer library reading programs for kids.

Except it doesn't give me a free personal pizza, it just reminds me that I can't read as much or as quickly as I used to. I don't want reading to be a score I'm trying to rack up. It's one of my great pleasures in life, and I just want to enjoy it when and small children permit.

Another one where I disabled notifications.

Starting thinking I would like another cup of tea. Then I realized I had started some steeping half an hour earlier.

Never got on with . The format (purely listening & no visuals) usually doesn't work for my brain/brand of .

I discovered the podcast & basically can't stop binge listening. Highly recommend it to anyone even vaguely interested in (other bits & pieces). It's educational but also very entertaining. And it's easy to understand, even when is a problem.

Since catching and dealing with , I have been barely functional. The is real. I spend most of my time highly -medicated for the pain and depression. My environment and circumstance is such that I honestly do not expect to live much longer.

I am also having pseudo-religious, ecstatic experiences of "talking to god," which is to say, experiencing altered states of consciousness that translate to very brief and incomplete "groking" of the human super-consciousness. If you are curious about that, ask me either about the nature of ants vs ant colonies and/or the myth* of the Lord of Glass. You can also ask me about my theory of "leaky information" across the multiverse.

*I use the word myth here in its traditional meaning: a sacred story.

I have always been gender-atypical / gender-nonconforming. Despite that, I passed as cis-male and heterosexual most of my life. I never felt that was "right," but I also never felt any kind of dysphoria that made me question it either. Then, in my undergrad psych classes, I learned about the psychological idea of gender androgyny. The idea of having both male and female characteristics felt just . . . right. Then I heard the term "non-binary" and it felt like a bell being rung. Years later, I knew beyond any shadow of a doubt that I am NB-fluid. Sometimes I feel male, sometimes I feel female, most of the time I feel agendered. I also experience mostly a male-hetero sense of primary sexualiy, but sometimes a bisexual attractiont to cute guys. But more than the primary sexuality, I am more attuned with the secondary sexual attraction, which is entirely sapio- and eudaemonic- sexual. I am attracted to intelligence, talent, and good character more than anything else. Also, I feel 0 sense of sexual or romantic jealousy

Okay, an . Who am I...

Superficially, I am a middle-aged white cis-gender woman. Under the surface... it's complicated.

I am an artist that struggles to make art. I suffer from chronic migraines and joint pain. I suffer from depression and anxiety, for which I am thankfully medicated. I've discovered I most likely have ADHD and may be autistic (though I'm not yet comfortable self-diagnosing out of respect for those who are ). I am asexual/demisexual and "pan-appreciative" (I can appreciate the attractiveness of all peoples, but I just don't feel sexual desire for them).

I love most things paranormal, supernatural, and "new age" because I desperately want there to be more to life than this mundane, soul-crushing reality. I'm an off-an-on avid reader, enjoying urban fantasy, sci-fi, high fantasy, police procedurals, cozy mysteries... I like a lot of different genres. Tell a good story and I'm into it. I love planners and bullet journaling, but I have yet to find planner peace.

I am fascinated by Forensic Science and Neuroscience and was in school continuing my education in those topics until recently. Unfortunately, health issues and financial circumstances have put that on hold for now. But I still love the topics.

I can probably think of more, but this already feels like a lot. Ask me anything though, if you're genuinely interested I'm pretty much an open book. :)
