Here in #Brigg we get many hundreds of HGVs which go through the town to or from the local port of Immingham & from there to Europe. Many use the town as a service station and overnight stop.
It would be nice if this excess traffic could be kept on the nearby motorway (<1km distant) rather than go through the small town itself... We might even get some sleep!

A #bike ride out on the Ancholme Valley Way. The path runs between #Brigg & the river #Humber alongside the river #Ancholme.
Being a drainage canal, the river is dead straight, but the local council & river authority has started to make some nature areas - here small extra banks to allow the animals in & out of the river.
