In 1955 #BritishPathe made a film of a local British #pub - the Crown and Cushion in #Haslemere. So friendly the regulars had their faces painted on the pint glasses and used them over many years. Sadly when I knew the pub in later years it was a bit run down, and has now been converted to flats and lost to the community. I wonder where the glasses ended up? #histodon https://youtu.be/dy6ajxb0bCg
