First episode of Beyond Paradise: good to see Goodman in action again but it’s a bit exhausting to return to the “Who is this incompetent goofball who thinks he can solve crimes and have a girlfriend?” storyline. Has anyone watched Doctor Foster? I'm a big fan of Suranne Jones, thanks to Scott & Bailey and Gentleman Jack, but I skimmed a few episode descriptions of Foster and it feels like a soap opera at times. Is it worth it? I know it's only 10 episodes, so not exactly a big risk.

Just rewatched S1E1 of #TheHours (from 2011). Such a good show. The ensemble is so good and the chemistry between the main characters...

I recall the story got a bit convoluted later in the season...

Who remembers the test card girl?

Found myself recalling the palaver we went through when we got our first telly - my dad on the roof fiddling with the aerial while we watched ‘snow’ on the screen.

Then I remembered how, even when it was tuned in, we’d often turn it on only to see the test card - the girl with the weird doll & the blackboard showing a half played game of noughts & crosses.
