The Budapest Memorandum was signed by Russia, the US, the UK, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Ukraine in 1992. It has six key points, including “respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.”

Russia violated this in 2014 and continues to violate it today.

Per the memorandum, the UK and the US are obligated to defend Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders, yet we haven’t for NINE YEARS.

We must do more than supply weapons.
