3 days of troubleshooting and I've sussed it out, the #revo heater core's failed, it's telling me the temps are fine they are actually a good ~40 degrees higher than stated which explains the nozzle smoke and the awful first layers I've been battling.
I wish I'd bought a thermal camera years ago.
So my mini is now out of action which means I can't finish my #voron parts, going to have to reach out to the #printitforward folks to get my new machine built. #3dprinting #buildlog

I think I've tracked down my #prusa mini's issues, replacing the little bit of PTFE tube in the hotend assembly now, question is if this works and it's printing again how long until the problem repeats as I think it because I was running the machine for 48h straight printing ASA, might have to put cooldown gaps in my plans to print my #voron parts. It's fine I suppose and I've got plenty of time before my electronics get here anyway. #3dprinting #buildlog

First pieces of the new #voron have been printed on my #prusamini, dimensions are bang on and they look good enough, overhangs aren't perfect but that's something I can fix as it looks like the fan duct has taken a knock so printing a new one before I continue with the long slog to get all these pieces ready to build.
Gone for a blue and metallic grey color scheme

Ok my brain is melting but I pulled all the STL's I'll need for the #voron build, sorted them into build order and ordered the 3Kg's of ASA I'll need to make them all. The #Prusa mini is going to be busy the next couple of weeks while I churn these out. #3dprinting #buildlog

Well... what a week!
Partner parents decided to donate their recently passed sisters house to us.
So we aren't about to end homeles anymore.
Also, we got in touch with local referents in the fight for land for the people and they say there is a viable space for us about 1km from where we where building.
So we are about to start fresh, more determined, safe and within comrades in about two weeks.
Thanks a lot to everybody that showed your support. It means a lot.
We :tealheart: you.
The branch gathering mission with the twins was a success. Even with storm.
So now we have more "build logs" (see @eris I got it :)
Time to collect more branches.
It got preety hard (emotionally) last few days. Lots of wind, a cold that afected us all, the fear of not finishing on time... didn't feel like posting much of it. But we are stil frenetically building our home and we are moving to it by next month!
PS: the home has a name now. Partner named it "la chimanga" and we all love it.
More plaster advance today with partner and twins.
We also enchanced our quincha technique by hanging algae with full mix instead of barbotine. It gets more strong from the begining. More work on quincha but way easier to do the plaster and less risk of flying quincha in the process.
Again we forgot about pictures. Will take some tomorrow morning.
Partner joined today and together advanced a lot on plaster.
We both forgot to take pictures.
Exhausted and happy.
Not much time today. Did some plaster work. Happy to get a little better at it every day.
Came back to plaster so next time we get 3 days with 60km/h wind I won't get nightmares about flying quincha :)
Also, the solar kit arrived!
TIL: It's not enough to be the kind of person that keeps a wiki. You also have to READ it. Wasted half of the time today dealing with the wrong plaster proportions.
Didn't advanced a lot today. Forecast says it's going to be windy as hell until tuesday. It's going to be an emotionaly hard weekend.
Will try to focus on making bottle briks and rest the body.

Two almost full rounds today. Realized that it's posible to do more than one branch per round without problems.
Partner and twins joined today! So it was an almost two rounds day.
A storm ended the fun earlier but it's ok.

Back to full round today.
TIL: I work and feel much better and faster by using a bucket as seat. Was foolishly hurting myself in the name of hurry while actually moving slower.
Didn't finish a round today but almost. I feel it will be faster as it goes higher from the roof. And my back will be gratefull.
Did some bad move dealing with the roof on a preety windy day and now I'm having some back pain. Nothing serious but really uncomfortable.
Ordered a solar kit last night. Just enough to power some lights and devices. The plan is to build a vertical aerogenerator with savaged parts at some point but don't have time to experiment right now.
Done! Just a few details before nylon.
Going back to walls tomorrow.
It's crazy but starts to feel as a home.
In the afternoon weather got even worst. At least we gathered 3 20lt kubets that will help a lot to mix mortar.
