"Under the new legislation, companies and directors who choose to hold retention money against sub-contractors will now be required to hold the money on trust in a separate bank account, which cannot be mixed with other company money or assets."

The owners of eight new-builds are in limbo.
This building industry boom & bust is not sustainable. If there's any sector crying out for regulation and compulsory completion insurance it's this one.

Have discovered over the years of walking around with a camera I love old sheds and attempting interesting compositions of their various parts. This beauty is at Ongaonga in Central Hawke's Bay and was most likely erected back in the days when native timber forests were being harvested to build early pioneer homes.
