TRETHEVY COIT

A megalith constructed between 3700-3500, and serving as a burial mound for the local community. Today it stands as a protected monument. Most of the stones are still in place but the odd tilt of the roof is because one of the tallest stones fell down. The hole in the stone is thought to have possibly had astronomical importance. Fantastic energy at this site, which is accessed by a narrow road closed to trucks and other large vehicles.
