@Ozmopolitan #buseireann operates like #RTE. Keep stumm about everything and do what they imagine people want. So-called "real-time" bus stop updates are pure fiction, fed by a theoretical timetable instead of by geolocation of actual buses. Their Morketing droids believe they have satisfied consumer demand, when what people really want is reliable information.

@ccferrie @Kemrch Couple of letters to The Irish Times today about the necessity for councils gritting pavements; nobody mentioning the cycle lanes. I spent a hairyish afternoon in and around the #NorthwestBusinessPark, where the drivers mistake the place for #LeMans and #BusÉireann has no seat at the #Broombridge bus terminal (and the bus doesn't go five minutes after #Luas arrives, so you're standing shivering for 25 minutes)

Once again my son was left standing in the rain, waiting for a bus that never showed up.

He's now caught rushing a 45 minute walk to school in order to make it to class on time.

This is not how a healthy multi-modal transportation system functions!

#BusEireann I can confirm that the 182A does not follow its published time schefule and today it didn’t turn up at all for Ardee 8am stop.. now on way to Drogheda to avoid missed hospital appointmen with elderly neighbour, thank you Bus Eireann, it may seem trivial however he is stressed enough without this, he uses public transport frequently and this is not his first poor experience with this service.. #getyouracttogether #poorcustomerservice #oldergenerationlifeline
