As an olive fiend, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about these Cerignola olives. I get it. These are really damn tasty! 😯❤️

The flavour is so rich and buttery with a bit of sweetness and even a slight floral quality, it didn't have that sharp saltiness and bitterness that I usually associate with olives. The brine the olives are in did seem a lot milder than most other olive brines.

I could eat the whole container in one go but I'm trying to restrain myself. 🤣

I have such a craving for savoury #crepes today. I don’t have the ingredients, but here is what the food side of my brain is demanding: thin hot #delicious #buttery pastries wrapped around a laminar centre of #chives or spring onion greens in cream cheese, a slab of smoked #salmon and maybe a #caper here and there for a little saltiness. And perhaps a thin shred of #endive so we can pretend it’s healthy.
