The fact that bitcoiners are consumed with all these problems gives us hope. Even if the internet goes down completely they can't fake transactions, unless they have the secretKeys.

At a point in the future when #thePeople regain internet access and noone wants #bigTech back, the first thing that they'll seek to do is reboot #bitcoin.

This is the timeline where ppl realise #CAGFAM is #theVirus. The alt timeline is CAGFAM seize #theInternet and cut off #dissenters.

Nice, but what about #fingerprinting. Ie. Unless most people that use the browser use the #addon and block same domains you may still be tracked.

If the addon were easy to access in the UI of a browser that changes the equation.

Does it block #CAGFAM out of the box (#Cloudflare + #GAFAM)

Otherwise we say just don't visit/share the site, that you think use unethical #domains etc.

For us it depends on the scale of the #tracking. If its #CAGFAM we will #BLOCKMARK.

The RT #news site has some #Yandex trackers but apart from that its not awful. Their #podcasts are served over #AmazonSoundCloud though. So we stopped sharing links to those.

Hackaday is served by #wordpress. Not bad?

(2/2) When you setup a different account like this they are called #Aspects, because they are for different aspects of your life.

To improve your anonymity and limit location tracking, especially for private Aspects, you can use #Orbot, a special decentralised VPN that bounces your traffic around. Orbit is also (kinda) available from FDroid. Fedilab is designed to work with Orbot, see Settings.

You might also want to avoid BigData instances like #CAGFAM for any private Aspect.

We are really loving the idea of #BLOCKMARKS.

Its a standard browser bookmark, but you strip out the URI and title of the page, and write, the name of the #CAGFAM's that it fetches resources from, the month and year, followed by "BLOCKMARK" in all caps.

So if the site is #Cloudflare fetching #Google, when you start typing it, the #blockmark appears like this:

The only problem is you end up with some crap when you start typing URLs… quickly dissipates tho.

There's been some documentation of how foundations and roundtables go with federated systems. In 2014, a bunch of bitcoins devs and investors got together to hash out stuff and that apparently didn't get much done. At the end of the day the people/users/nodes decided.

Users on Fedi are semi-anonymous so polls and voting won't work and only encourage #CAGFAM to use their… socks.

If we make bad decisions, we'll know when discourse quality deteriorates.

If we ever setup an instance we probably would not federate with any IP address that is #CAGFAM.

We realise that this is not an effective way to avoid #BigTech from a security or even privacy perspective, but it would send a strong message and we think strong messages are the only thing we have left – think of it as a #tradeWar but with #information, rather than physical goods or services.

There are six #techLords, every #smallBusiness must pay homage to at least one of these #overloads in order to remain in good standing.

We call them #CAGFAM (read: #cageFam). They include:

• #Amazon
• #Google
• #Facebook
• #Apple
• #Microsoft

These entities are not the tops of the transnational #extractionScheme themselves but are the effective #autonomatons of such.

Sorry we should have mentioned here also that this issue has been resolved by the developer/maintainer of the site and we are very thankful to them for fixing this.

Having said that, its healthy to use alternate websites occasionally so if you know a website(s) that can help people find good Pleroma instances, that don't use #CAGFAM, feel free to use it. The flyer's svg source file is available for this and other purposes.

You have a good point about using their iconography. The only one without recognisable iconography is Cloudflare, so we'd write that as we're already doing.
