Here's some interesting views of Delta Flyer at #CAGreatAmerica.

Image 1 is the station, so you know what I'm talking about. Delta Flyer is specifically the station on the north side of the park, in Orleans Place.

Image 2 is the manufacturer's plate stamped to the ride mechanism inside the station.

The third image is the real treat: that's the counterweight that holds the cabins on the line. This is visible to guests if you pause to look into the ride as you enter the cabin at DF. #vonroll

one of my most memorable moments working at #CAGreatAmerica was back when i worked in planet snoopy. i had a mom ask if she could ride with her kid on kite eating tree (the kid's drop tower) and i said yes and told her where the parent's seat was. she and her kid rode and were both really happy.

at the end of the ride she pulled me aside and thanked me. she said she was from a country that didn't have amusement rides, and she'd needed that "baby step" of riding a planet snoopy ride. (1/2)
