Mistakes were made but overall I'm pretty pleased with the results!

And due to staff commitments, heat, events, and at least one giant hangover, my fursuiting was limited to about 2 hours across the entire con. But happily some people did snap the lesser-spotted fox! #CFz2023

Maybe people should clue themselves up on an event's code of conduct in the first place, and understand why such rules are in force in the first place, rather than hurl abuse at people.

It's not as if there aren't numerous events where people can engage in the activity in question anyway, rather than try and demand another event and their attendees have to cater for them against their wishes.

Good to have been attending a convention for 13 years, and getting abuse from people attendimng the con for the first time over someone (a crew member who should have known better) breaking the con rules and making me uncomfortable and being told "don't attend the con if you don't like it" 🤦‍♂️

Then con staff and welfare quickly point out that I was the one in the right. Followed by some whining the con is prudish and "fursecuting" before suddenly going silent.
