#introduction I’m a 30 something #payroll manager from the #northwest.

Fully paid up member of the #quiltbag bit of a #nerd with a steam library full of titles on the “waiting to be played” list #gaymer.

Often on hold to #HMRC and always getting lost in the robot. Member of the #CIPP. Work primarily with #digitalagency clients.

There's alot going on in the world, but I'm pleased to share I passed my #CIPP-US #privacy exam today! The Mastodon feed was a comforting presence during my late-night study sessions. Looking forward to apply privacy principles in my work.

Made it through some of the more dense topics of the #CIPP--FCRA, HIPAA, etc. Working on Government + Privacy sections. Saving the State Privacy laws for last, as they're the most confusing. Went for a walk and it really helped re-energize me for the afternoon push!

I couldn't travel with my family back home (10+ hours away) becuase of medical reasons, so taking this time to catch up on studying for the #CIPP-US exam on #privacy law. Looking to expand my knowledge in this area, even though it's not directly tied to my work, because it has interesting cross-applications to my work in criminal law

However, I'm finding it MUCH more difficult studying now than when I was younger and didn't have as many responsibilities. Major respect to parents in law school.
