#Wastewater levels in my area are about 3-5 times higher than lowest summer values, which were still higher than all previous lows.

That said... Today my #CO2Monitor put both my local pharmacy and supermarket at about 600 ppm.

I'm wondering... Is there a #CO2 level at which you would consider a not-crowded public indoor space "safe" enough for everyone to unmask, with no other known mitigation measures?

Does anyone know about ventilation in cars? The CO2 in my work vehicle was reaching near 3000ppm despite having the fan constant (and was not set to recirculate). So far I just wish there was a little travel case for it, so I could keep it safe when I'm out and about. Then I would take it out of the case when I'm at my destination.

Believe you me, there's some random things in my purse and I don't want the side button to get banged around 😂 😂 I'll have to go to stores with it and see what I can find.

Was sent this from Ao/NZ and it nicely demonstrates the impact that occupancy on a train carriage can have on CO2 levels.
While the CO2 may be lower with less people it doesn’t mean that *if one of them is infectious* that the lower occupancy reduces risk equivalently, although what it does reflect is the lower numbers of people and hence lower probability of someone onboard being infectious. #CO2Monitor #IAQ #COVID19

It’s genuinely not controversial to recognise that CO2 monitoring absolutely can have utility, but that it’s utility is context dependent.
It can falsely reassure in underventilated spaces with short duration or low density occupancy, or it can falsely alarm in spaces where non-ventilation interventions are in place (eg filtration).

Fair. I'll raise the ante and argue that INDOOR environmental protection be an #EPA purview. Pretty clear #cdc isn't going to champion the issue, and it's not just #osha of course.
