📷 This old "Mill House" is one of just a few left from the village near the cotton mill that closed 15 years ago. The mill was razed and is now "New Townhomes from the Low 210s!"

See the steps to nowhere? The sidewalk they led to is gone, paved over to widen the road I'm sitting on, waiting for the light to change.

Today’s listening is ‘Déjà Vu’, the 1970 album by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

CS&N are joined by Y for this album and it is something of a mixed bag-their version of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Woodstock’ being excellent, as is ‘Helpless’ by Neil Young.
However, I’ve never liked the 2 Graham Nash songs on this album-‘Our House’ being particularly annoying!

My copy has ‘To Lisa, I hope you like it’ written on the inner sleeve. I guess Lisa didn’t like it!

Really sad to hear the news of David Crosby's passing tonight. But I guess we all shuffle off this mortal coil at some point, right?
