2️⃣COM should not overstretch its powers with #CSRs. They should be developed objectively, adapted to each MSs, avoiding any suspicion of double standards. This requires a meaningful dialogue between MSs &COM.

Similar in some aspects, #RRF and #ESIF differ considerably, highlights the new @EUAuditors review.
The RRF is:
➡️a temporary crisis response tool
➡️closely linked to reforms in #CSRs
➡️based on 'financing not linked to costs'
➡️implemented through national systems.

In our new @EUAuditors report on the #RRPs, we found that while the plans in general cover the 2020 #RRF related #CSRs, some important aspects of 2019 CSRs concerning structural challenges (pensions, health, taxation...) remained unaddressed.
