"Strength to Love" is a volume of Dr. Martin Luther King's most well known homilies. The book is a testament to King’s lifelong commitment to preach the social gospel. It promote King’s vision of love as a potent social and political force for change. We celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday today with a photo by Charles Williams of the book event in Los Angeles in 1964 and a photo by Harry Adams of Dr. King speaking at Second Baptist Church in Los Angeles in 1968. #MLKDay2023
