@pluralistic I only keep my FB account open so as not to lose contact with old friends. Even though I haven't used it for months.

I started reigning back after what I saw as the #CambridgeAnaytica scandal and its application to #brexit propaganda, the idea of spam bots.

Don't know if I'm right but WhatsApp also fulfilled my requirement to talk to selected people. Not all people. Both Twitter and Mastodon feel different.

We could also use a framework, akin-but-anti to #CambridgeAnaytica / #KochNetwork base on #OpenSource and community cooperation and coordination but, for the life of me, I'm damned if I can figure out anything within those principles that the #Facist #OutrageMachine couldn't use against us.
