I was fairly late discovering #cellist #RaphaelaGromes. Sony Classical does a poor job promoting her in the U.S., though clearly she is in competition with the likes of the brilliant #CamilleThomas, and #AlisaWeilerstein, to be the best cellist in the world. Gromes was one of the few artists whom the first time I heard her music I bought as many of her albums as I could afford. I've been listening to her all morning. And truly she could not have found a better recording partner than #pianist #JulianRiem. Just outstanding recordings. I do think Gromes would be better served under a different record label, but I have other complaints about Sony Classical besides this. #cello #mastomusic
