@nationalpost@mstdn.foxfam.club The claim is that the federal government was slow in making deals with Western #BigPharma because they were concentrating on #CanSinoBiologics . This latter company produced the Chinese #vaccine , but the #PRC didn't want to ship the vaccine to Canada for testing.

Probably the deal with #CanSino didn't really interfere with the #Pfizer deal (for instance), but it is certainly worth asking what went wrong with CanSino.
