I could make a general comment about why #construction is like that. A more interesting question however, is whether projects tend to meet schedule, budget and intended purpose more frequently in software or in construction? What do you think?

@keithzg You should check out the #OttawaLRT project. Supposed to open in May 2018, actually open in September 2019. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confederation_Line

OTOH, the #Vancouver #CanadaLine : "The line opened at 1 p.m. local time on August 17, 2009, on budget and three and a half months ahead of schedule, and six months ahead of the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver."
