I managed to catch a break in the rain a few weeks ago at #HaystackRock at #CannonBeach in #Oregon . The light was subtle at #sunrise over the #Pacific #Ocean . It took some patience to get the right amount of #waves over the stick for the shot.

I don’t take a lot of photos of people, but people in the distance on an Oregon beach is somehow magical. September is usually perfection on the Oregon coast.

I’ve been working on some panoramas. This is the center image of an eventual panorama of a Needle, Haystack Rock, and people walking on the beach at Cannon Beach.
It is going to require more editing than I have energy for right now, specifically due to the waves, a tricky bit to merge.
So you’re only getting the middle, Haystack Rock with two birds flying and a gorgeous blue September sky.
