A vote was just held at the Central Area Committee on retaining the traffic free scheme in #CapelStreet which passed 8-2. Later this month workshops will be held on Capel Street to explore a new streetscape, greening, more seating, slowing down cyclists etc and the redesign will be drawn up by landscape architects. Hoping we can get this right so the next streets to be made traffic free can have an example to look at. #StreetsAreForPeople
