The.core problem is #capitalism and that it incentivizes #unsustainability & #profits over #sustainability and #society because that's what the laws incentivize.
In fact #public #corporations have to maximize profits ba all means legally possible or risk getting sued by shareholders.

Whereas #cooperatives are also bound to their members/shareholders but with the demand to be sustainable.
Same goes with #subsidies for unsustaonable #agriculture.

But instead of hoping for #regulation to work - which is #naive - the only winning move is to refuse to buy such #AntiRepairDesign and instead choose #repairability - like with a @Fairphone !

Because anything else will affirm said manufacturers that are #AntiRepair that you are okay with them denying you this essential #ConsumerRight to #DIY and #fix products you bought...

As Covid cases spread in 2020, visitors to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences were greeted by a colorful sign put up by grateful neighbors outside the university’s medical center: “Heroes Work Here.”
