The theme is "Care is better when loved ones are there" It Is hugely important to send a message loud &clear to govt. We will not have families standing at windows ever again watching loved ones pass away. Families are not visitors, families are partners in care for those they love.
Lessons can only be learned by examining what happened and ensure that the necessary reform happens.

#Introduction We are families who advocate with and for our family members in #nursinghomes. We are seeking a #PublicInquiry into standards of care and deaths during #covid. Families cannot move forward without answers. We want #Reform #Safeguarding #Regulation #CarePartner in all care settings. We need #accountability and #transparency. #Homecare needs to addressed so that its fit for purpose & people can decide where they want to live.
