I really like meeting/presentation statements about attending to access needs regarding moving or sitting/standing/lying in non-normative ways, stimming, etc. I'm working on adapting a version for meetings that I run.

Has anyone seen/heard a version they like that also incorporates caretaking? Something that calls out that it's okay to step away or have other people around because you're taking care of them!

That work affords me financial capacity to do the #CareWork that I feel is much more important than any of the #SoftwareEngineering contributions I make to the world. I am still working on making the care work paid so I can do less coding. It's the kind of skill you have to practise, and hard to find someone to pay you to do that.

I have realised through experiencing the incompetence of one community mgr in particular that I am already much more qualified than some professionals.

First work we encounter is #CareWork and this is not all fun and game and still has to be done. So we learn that there is always a part of work that is just discipline.

I guess you meant in the way of not overworking, and I see all mothers are overworked. and I would really like to start there.

Care work provided in homes and institutions is a public good that is under-valued by society
