Tuesday night #BoardGames included
- #WelcomeToTheMoon in which we reached Adventure 6: The one where the humans make the moon inhabitable with numerous virus outbreaks. This was a definite step up in length and complexity from the previous episodes.
- and #Cartographers where it was nice to play with my friends scoring cards from the Heroes box for a change from the base set
- also forget to photograph #Everdell but my friend enjoyed it as I hoped she would!

Two #BoardGames played right last night that I'd previously got wrong!

Mission #2 of #WelcomeToTheMoon I learnt solo at the weekend but cheated myself by putting numbers in before energy barriers.

And #Cartographers #FrozenExpanse where I explained it badly last time and my opponent used the scouted squares as anything squares thinking you just missed out on points that way. (This time we saw no monsters!)

Both games better when played with the correct rules. And I lost at both of them 😆

I am enjoying the Roll and Write and Flip and Write mechanic. I’m not sure if I’m ready for the crunchy games, but I really like #GanzSchönClever and #Cartographers so far.

I’m still loving the #Cartographers game. Games play quickly, and it’s really easy to pick up and put down. I’m playing solo, so I don’t know how it goes with other players. I can imagine you could end up waiting a lot for a slowpoke.

The one minor downside, I can’t play the game and listen to an audiobook, like I can do with other games.

I bought #Cartographers at the store last night and both the apps for it and #CartographersHeroes this morning.

This is quite a fun game. It took me several plays to figure out the scoring. I kinda suck at it. But that’s ok, it’s fun.

A hopefully below average sort of a board gaming month to start the year. Two new-to-me games.

#StarWarsVillainous my friend game this to someone for Christmas and they rejected it so she kept it! I’m not a huge fan of the asymmetric gameplay but quite enjoyed it.
#ZeusOnTheLoose small card game, lots of adding up made it feel a bit over-educational

Also played a new expansion #ParksNightfall and both #Cartographers plays were with new maps.

Got an online discount code, so I ordered two #boardgames that I had my eye on for a time 😇 One is "Welcome to the Moon" and the other is an expansion package for #Cartographers with new maps and new cards. Look at Fürst Dreni 😍🐧

Just finished my first solo game of #CartographerHeroes. I was afraid to play it because I read that it is so hard to learn (in comparison to #Cartographers).
Well, it's not? Quite easy to learn and play.

Finished with 15 points which is the third best tier I could achieve (there are many tiers for negativ points 😅).

Will try this game with my "Clever friends" since they also enjoy roll & writes very much 🎲

Enjoyed #Cartographers this evening. Always a favourite of mine. Decided I was going all in on Christmas tree forests before I even saw the scoring cards. First time we have played with the base game map for ages and it was pleasantly simple. #BoardGames #FlipAndWrite

@emmahunneyball I have heard lots of good things about #Cartographers. I intend to buy it at some point.

I have a 2024 and 2028 and 2032 plan. We need gerrymandering to be outlawed. My proposal? After census results decide congressional counts going to each state, a group of #CityPlanners and #Cartographers draw the common sense boundaries for each district and they DO NOT CHANGE UNTIL THE NEXT CENSUS.
